Until the Day Dawns

2 Peter 1:19
And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts; 20 knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, 21 for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.
Until the Day Dawns
Often when I see the sunrise in the morning I am reminded of this scripture. It speaks to us about how the prophetic word, the Word of God, is the light that shines in the dark place. The dark place is all that is around us. We live and walk among darkness. The earth still abides under the curse and travails for its day of release. The Word of God is the torch that gives us light in the night. It shows us the way, it dispels the darkness and it is what indwells us to make us light bearers. Peter speaks here to the validity of God’s Word as being the dispensation of the God and not of man. Holy men were simply the instruments to pen the Words that were given through the unction of the Holy Spirit. These words are the light and the life that lead us into the kingdom and the will of the Father. Peter exhorts us that we would do well to heed these words for they are a light shining in the darkness to all that heed them.
Peter also alludes to a new day that is dawning. It is a day when the Morning Star, the Christ, rises in our hearts, then that Word will become manifest and alive within us as Christ fully transforms us into His image and likeness. That which we have known in part we will know in completion.
There will come many in sheep’s clothing that will seek to malign, pervert and misuse the Word of God. They will be the cause of why the Word of God is blasphemed, mocked and ridiculed among many. These are false prophets that would seek to undermine the truth and deny the Lordship of Christ. You will know them because of the truth that abides in you through the Word and you will discern the fruit of their unrighteousness. From such turn away and expose them with the truth of God.

How do I Know that You are the Lord?
January 7, 2014
Ezekiel 6:10
And they will know that I am the LORD; I did not threaten in vain to bring this calamity on them.
How do I Know that You are the Lord?
Ezekiel 6 is a prophetic word talking about the judgement that the Lord is going to bring upon Israel. He is speaking against the land and the corruption that fills it. Specifically verse 10 is what I felt the Lord giving me this morning. Often, because our God is so long-suffering and patient we tend to think that just because we haven’t seen what He has said will do come to pass, happen yet, that we can just blow it off and ignore it. Father is long-suffering in order to give us time for repentance and restoration. Father would much rather see us come to repentance and be restored than He would to bring judgement and punishment. How often have we taken so much of what the Lord has spoken to us for granted? We are like the man in James 1: 22-25, “Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. 23Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror 24and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. 25But the man who looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it—he will be blessed in what he does.” This is our exhortation today. Give heed to what God is speaking into our life through His Word, His Spirit and His ministers. We are coming into a tremendous spiritual shift and it is imperative that we are tuned into Christ in this hour. John 10: 27 says, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.” If there is one thing we must do in this hour it is to learn to discern the Lord’s voice and be obedient to it. We are standing upon the threshold of many changes in life, as we have known it. Perhaps there has never been a more dangerous time in our history than today and our tomorrow. God is not trying to scare us, because He has not given us a spirit of fear. Our fear comes from being outside of His will and purpose. He is trying to position us for what He is bringing forth.
How do we know the Lord is God? It is because He is going to do what He said He would do and we can count on that. It is time for us to awaken out of our spiritual slumber and awaken to the trumpet and alarm that is sounding. Revelations 18:4 speaks and declares, “And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.”

A Word from the Lord
Romans 13:12
The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.
Leave this day the things of the earthly realm behind you. Look into the dawn of the New Day for from the East arises your salvation and from the West the sun is setting on the former things and the things of this time and place. Open your heart to me and I will fill it. Open your mouth to me and I will fill it. Open your hands to me and I will fill them. I will be your supply and your provision. All of your need is met in me. Lean not upon the arm of the flesh to feed and provide in your day of want. I am your Provider and the supplier of every need. Lean not upon your own understanding, but lean on the council of My Word, for it is the light unto your path and a lamp unto your feet. Take care that you walk in the light of the council of my Word. It is a sword to prove you, to divide and separate soul and spirit. Far too long my people have been a mixture and double-minded in their ways. Let your eye be single and your heart true to the calling that I have given you to walk in My ways and obey My commands, if you do this, then do you love Me. Far too long my people offer up the oblations of praise and worship, but their hearts are far from me. Outwardly they do their homage, but within their heart and their thoughts they entertain wickedness and impurity. I do not judge the outward man, but the inward man, the man of the heart. What value does a beautiful cup or vessel have if it is full of abominations and wickedness?
The fire is sent to purify that which I have sanctified. It will burn with unquenchable thirst until there is no more left to feed its desire. Mercy and grace will wet and temper the steel of godliness in my people, lest they be consumed in judgement. My people shall turn to me from the least to the greatest and those that are mine shall gather beneath My wing. There I will shelter them from the storm. It is a time of pruning and separation so that those who would bear fruit may do so more abundantly and those that are dead upon the vine may be cut off and cast into the fire.
What a man has sown and what he is now sowing will bear its fruit and he shall eat the fruit thereof either to life or to death. Take care how you plant into your life and into the lives of others.
Clay pots hold divine life. Only as they are emptied are they perpetually filled. Stop holding the life till it becomes stagnant and putrified. Pour out that which I place within each one of you. It is only in giving that you truly receive. Release the life. You are not vessels for storage, you are vessel of daily use to wash the feet of common people and make their way clean and sure. Some of you say, what do I have to give? Give your life, your service, and My love that abides within you. With Me there is never a lack of supply or increase. You are shallow, because your deeds are shallow. Become the vessel that is tipped over and poured out. If you sow sparingly you will reap sparingly.
Revelation is coming, but it comes with a price. It must be received with humility and obedience. The revelation of the Most High is revealed in what you live and not in what you know. The revelation of Jesus Christ in you is revealed through a crucified life, laid upon the altar of obedience and service.
Today is the day to seek Me and lay all else aside. I am your refuge, your hiding place, your mighty fortress, but you must truly know me to be hid in me. It is no longer about outward actions of religion and godliness, it is a day to know intimately my heart and come into the inner sanctuary of relationship and abiding that is only found in intimacy and relationship. Come quickly, for the days are getting short and times and seasons are at hand. Rouse you up out of your sleep and slumber and come away with me. I speak these things to you, because I love you. Let him who has an ear hear what the Spirit is speaking to the Church. It is the day for the Bride to prepare herself and make ready for her Groom. Take heed and act quickly.

Revelation 3:14-22
“To the angel of the church in Laodicea write:
These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the ruler of God’s creation. 15I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! 16So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth. 17You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. 18I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see.
19Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest, and repent. 20Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.
21To him who overcomes, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I overcame and sat down with my Father on his throne. 22He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”
Call to Return and Commit
Hear what the Lord is saying this day. His exhortation to return into Him. The time of religion and pretense is past and His warnings grow short. Father is speaking to all of us that have spiritual ears and that can hear. “Turn your attention away from the world and unto to Me,” says the Lord. “I redeemed you and gave My life for you. I bought you with the price of My blood. It is not in your spiritual knowledge that you are made spiritual, it is in your walk and intimacy with Me. I have been knocking on the hearts of My people for some time now, but so many have grown dull to My calling. They shut out the intimacy of my presence and fellowship, for the busyness of their schedules and lifestyles. My people have become to busy for Me, they are so caught up in the technology and distractions of this age. Hear My people what I say unto you, “Cursed is the man that rejects me and is offended in me. You have cursed yourselves, because you have gone to you idols of technology, comforts and convenience.
Awake, oh you that sleeps, from the dullness of mediocrity and selfishness. I rebuke you because I love you. I call out to you because I want My highest for you. Let not the sacrifice I paid for you be for nothing. Do not crucify Me afresh.
Repent, My people, and return to Me. Your time is short. Return unto Me with all of your heart and I will cleanse and restore you once again. Open the door of your heart and allow me to come and sup with you, to have fellowship and sweet communion with you. Pull down the cardboard exteriors of pretense and hypocrisy and make yourselves real and available to Me.
I am calling out to My own and My sheep will hear My voice and respond to it. A mediocre faith is not what I have called you too. I have called you to be My disciples, to pick up your cross and follow me. Follow me with all of your heart or not at all. Choose to be hot or cold, but be no longer complacent, for that is abhorrent to Me and not acceptable. Choose this day whom you will serve. If you are on the Lord’s side then come and follow Me with all of your heart, soul, mind and strength. ”
