Our Lover Jesus

Song of Solomon 2:10
My lover spoke and said to me,
“Arise, my darling, my beautiful one, and come with me.

Our Lover Jesus

Feel the gentle breeze caressing you as Jesus strokes your hair.
Look into His eyes of love and feel your heart melt there.
In those pools of gentleness He bathes your soul clean,
We look upon the face of kindness, through spiritual eyes it’s seen.

You sit and listen as we chat with You about our day,
All the fears and concerns, in Your presence, melt away.
In spiritual romance we are wrapped up in Your arms,
In that place of love and security we fear no outward harm.

I don’t know why, but oh, You love us so,
How we love dancing in your Holy Spirit’s flow.
We bask in Your glory when Your presence fills the room,
Caught up in heavenly places in the fragrance of Your sweet perfume.

Lover and Husband, Lord Jesus, You are our precious One.
How Father has loved us to betroth us to His Son.
May the Lilly fields of Your people be pure and white.
Purify us that we may stand without spot or wrinkle in Your sight.

Oh how we long for the consummation of Your love;
When in Your person and likeness we take flight like a dove.
When we are made like You and see You as You are.
Your bride caught up in You with the brilliance of a super nova star.

Then with no more hindrance from the earthly man beneath,
We will fully inherit the kingdom You have delighted to bequeath.
We will stand forever in the presence of Your unveiled face of love,
Ruling and reigning forever with dominion from above.

Blessings,
kent
